We translate the texts in their original file formats and assess formatting before linguistic quality.
Translated characters are the tagged text as sent for translation. Markup is every tag, and for the JSON document also its field names, quote marks, braces and indentation. Whitespace is the spaces and line breaks inside the content once the tags are removed. Text is every other character: letters, digits, punctuation and symbols.
We use the same 177 source segments for every solution, and 145 of them carry at least one tag. Tag identifiers were simplified before translation, but no tag was removed.
